Pre-MBA Courses

Students seeking to earn an MBA who do not have a previous business degree may complete courses in Basic Skill Proficiency and Basic Business Knowledge in order to register for Level III MBA courses. These 500 level pre-requisites are now offered online to help students complete essential pre-requisites on a timely schedule. Certificate Programs in Bioethics

(Undergraduate and Graduate)
Designed primarily for those involved in health care practice, research or administration, for whom questions of ethics arise on a daily basis. Provides grounding in the essentials of bioethical reasoning and practice for nurses, physicians, social workers, researchers, hospital administrators and other health care professionals. Certificate in Early Childhood Mental Health

The purpose of this 16-credit hour certificate program is to prepare graduate students and professionals from a variety of disciplines to work with infants, toddlers, young children, parents and caregivers in social service agencies, community mental health programs, clinics, hospitals, early childhood programs and other settings. Graduates of the certificate program will offer Early Child Mental Health Consultation services, where the graduate plays the role of a consultant for a particular educational center, or Early Childhood Mental Health Counseling services, where the graduate offers counseling services directly to the young child and his or her family. Talented and Gifted Learners Teaching License

The Gifted and Talented Program is right for many educators including counselors, teachers in self-contained gifted or inclusive classrooms, administrators, and any individual hoping to play a leadership role in the education of gifted and talented learners. This program offers licensed teachers a gifted intervention specialist licensure or a master degree in Curriculum & Foundations with an emphasis on gifted education. Endorsement in Educational Technology

The program requires that students have an existing state of Ohio teaching license or certificate and complete five required courses (19 credit hours). Endorsement candidates can us this coursework toward the Master degree. For more information please visit the program website.

Inspired Leaders Principal Licensure Program

The Inspired Leaders Program is an alternative pathway to receiving principal licensure in 16 months. This innovative leadership education program is under the Center for Educational Leadership within the College of Education and Human Services. The Inspired Leaders Program was designed for the working professional, offering each course in a blended model with a weekend (Saturday) and online component.
