Financial aid is provided from the government and/or Cleveland State University to help bridge the gap between your own financial resources and the amount of money needed to pay the cost of attending classes.
CSU encourages all students to apply for financial aid. Approximately 70 percent of our students receive some form of financial assistance. In addition, CSU also has the ability to provide need-based grants, which are not required to be repaid.
The first step in the financial aid process is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). By completing the FAFSA, you are applying for gift aid (scholarships and grants) and self-help programs (Federal Work-Study and loans).

A student with Ohio residency that attends classes full-time at CSU pays only $8,466 per year.
The CSU fee schedule varies according to undergraduate, graduate and law school student status as well as in-and-out-of-state residency.
Remember that in addition to tuition, there are books and other expenses to consider. Educational expenses vary per student based on personal situations and lifestyle.
